18:12 "Tough job, great team, big fun" #24HR13_Munich - I talked to this waitress at a local coffee shop. She was a bit exhausted but happy and I completely knew how she felt. She said it's long working hours and a physically tough job, but her team made it not only bearable but rewarding. Which brings me to @24hourproject - What an experience. Easily the most challenging day in my photographic life, but above and beyond one of the most interesting and truly global projects I know. Thanks to @whittiersam and @aliveinnyc for starting this and giving the 24 hour project its human spirit, to the team who curated the immense stream of imagery and my admiration to everyone who participated in this as a photographer, guest or regular. And thanks to the many encouraging comments from everybody - truly appreciated. Special thanks to my wife Petra @emillota who constantly pushed me to deliver my very best, even in the small hours, and to Tammy @punkrawkpurl for creating and promoting the #Hipstaroll_24HR13 tag - except for 3 images all of my photos posted are pure unedited Hipstamatic.
